    How it works

    1. Snap the check

      Take a photo. CheckMates reads every line, plus the venue, date, discounts and service charge.

    2. Send one link

      Drop it in the group chat or show a QR code at the table. Friends open it in the browser, no app needed.

    3. Everyone taps what they had

      Totals update live for the whole table. You see who has paid you back.

    The awkward bits, handled

    Two beers, two people
    Lines with a quantity split into single units, so each person takes the beer they had.
    Tip and service, fairly
    Each person's share follows what they ordered, not the total split evenly.
    Receipts in any language
    Ukrainian, Spanish, Czech or anything else: items, prices and currency are read for you.
    Nobody installs anything
    Only the person with the check needs the app. Everyone else just opens the link.
    Gone in a week
    Shared checks are deleted 7 days after they're created.

    Next round, nobody does the maths.
